If you are planning a wedding or large event, you can select your type of cake, icing, any fillings (if wanted) and finally how they are decorated. This way you can adjust your cakes to suit your individual needs and budget. Of course I am always happy to help you decide and advise you - I love nothing better than talking cakes! Check out my gallery to see some of the cupcakes I've made or feel free to browse the web and send me your own ideas!
Homemade with Love in East Sussex
Anyone in Essex looking for beautiful handmade cakes should check out my friend Tina's webiste. Not only did she win the Virgin Mobile cake compatition in 2010 she also made Amy Childs' 21st Birthday cake as featured in OK magazine!
My favourite site for inspiration and great recipes is goodtoknow:
My cakes, cake pops and cupcakes are all homemade, using the best quality ingredients and even some of my
home-grown fruits. I only use the freshest eggs, laid by my own happy free-range chickens and very spoilt fat ducks!
All of my jams, chutneys and jellies are homemade, using my own home-grown fruits. With only a few exceptions where I didn't have the ingredients (yet - we're working on it), I have sourced good quality local produce - in several cases from my lovely and very kind neighbours! I make personalised jams and chutneys as wedding or party favours. - contact me to discuss.
Check out my new 'Baking Boobs' blog, where I'll share some of my disasters, as well as some helpful tips to avoid them and useful links I've found.
