Thanks for stopping by - here's a little bit about me and my company 'A little bit Naughty'!
I only use the best quality ingredients, home-grown or sourced locally where possible, and always use the freshest eggs, mostly those laid by my own happy hens and very spoilt ducks!
If you'd like to try my cakes for yourself, come and see me at Robertsbridge Village Hall on the first Saturday of every month (10am - 12pm) where I take a lovely selection of my delicious homemade cupcakes.
Flavours available vary each month but I'm always happy to try to accommodate special requests when contacted in advance.
Ok, I know it sounds a bit salacious but let me explain why I named my company 'A little bit Naughty'. I have cherished memories when I was little, of my lovely Dad coming home from work at the weekend with a big brown paper bag full of chocolate treats. He had a very sweet tooth and would say, "it's ok to be a little bit naughty every now and then" as he emptied the contents on to the counter.
I sadly lost him to cancer back in 2005, but when I launched my company in 2013, I named my company in his memory, to make delicious cakes he'd have loved. So now you can be a little bit naughty too!
My love of baking began when I worked in London as an IT Manager and organised bake sales to raise money for local good causes. As I lived on a boat with my hubby at the time and we only had a tiny galley kitchen, I started baking cupcakes as they are small and easy to make. After moving to our house in Sussex in 2010 we had a new kitchen installed and I haven't stopped baking since!
Creating delicious and beautiful cakes became such a passion that after leaving my IT job behind, I decided to turn my passion into a full-time career. In 2022 I had a brand new dedicated baking kitchen installed, so I'm now able to bake even more!
